Franklin South was a parliamentary electorate in the southern part of the Auckland region of New Zealand from 1881 to 1890.
The electorate was represented by one Member of Parliament, Ebenezer Hamlin.
The electorates of Franklin North and Franklin South were created from the former Franklin electorate in 1881-82, and were absorbed back into the reconstituted Franklin electorate in 1890.
Franklin South originally included the towns of Pukekohe and Waiuku, and the area from Waiuku to the West Coast. In 1887 with the growth of Auckland, Papakura was transferred from Franklin North.
